JUNIOR TRIATHLON & DUATHLON

Located on the banks of the Murray River at Moama Beach, this is a beautiful location for our junior event and we hope for you to join us in 2026!
The junior event consists of a short down stream swim in the river (juniors can stand if needed), followed by an OFF ROAD / gravel surface bike and finishing with a run through to the finish line!

There are two different distances on offer, AS WELL as a DUATHLON (run/bike/run) for those not ready / keen on the swim leg. So there is a distance and option for all juniors!
RACE OPTIONS & DISTANCES:
SHORT COURSE: 7-10years: 50m swim | 3km bike | 600m run
LONG COURSE: 11-14years: 80m swim | 6km bike | 1.2km run
DUATHLON FORMAT OPTION: For those juniors not up for the swim, a duathlon format is also available, simply excludes the swim leg.

INSURANCE COVERAGE
AusTriathlon membership is NOT included in these prices. It is mandatory to have a AusTriathlon membership to participate in our events. If you are not a AusTriathlon member, one day memberships are available in our registration system at the following costs.
Junior Triathlon: $0, Sprint Distance $12.50, Swim Events $1.00
If you are entering as a TEAM, all members need to be AusTriathlon Members, otherwise a One Day Licence will be added to the entry fee. Similarly, if no team member is a AusTriathlon Member, only one ODL is added to the team.
REFUND & TRANSFER POLICY

All requests for refunds or transfers must be made in writing by emailing echucamoamatriclub@gmail.com
The following fees will be applied to cancellations or refunds:
1. A $20 cancellation fee will be incurred if you withdraw before 12/01/2026
2. No refunds will be available after 12/01/26 (unless part of our contingency plan)
4. Entries are transferable if required to our 2027 Event. A request for a transfer must be in writing by emailing echucamoamatriclub@gmail.com by 15/01/26
